Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous blind peer review process:

1. Peer Review Process

JAET operates a double‑blind peer‑review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Each manuscript is evaluated by two independent expert reviewers who assess its originality, significance, methodology, and overall scholarly quality before a publication decision is made.

2. Reviewer Selection and Expertise

The journal draws on its allied professional networks and authors to identify suitable reviewers. It engages peer reviewers based on their expertise, academic qualifications, and publication record in the relevant subject area.

3. Peer Review Standards

Reviewers are asked to provide constructive feedback and, where appropriate, recommend revisions to improve the manuscript. The journal's editorial process is designed to ensure rigorous quality control, transparency, and adherence to international standards of scholarly publishing.

4. Conflict of Interest Disclosure for Editors and Reviewers

Editors and reviewers are required to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could affect the impartial handling of a manuscript. Such conflicts may include financial, personal, or professional relationships that might reasonably be perceived as influencing editorial decisions or the review process.

5. Acknowledgement and Review Timelines

The journal’s online system provides authors with an automated acknowledgement of manuscript receipt within five working days of submission. If the manuscript is accepted for peer review, the editorial office aims to complete the review process within an average of six to eight weeks, although this may vary depending on reviewers’ availability, the author’s responsiveness, and the complexity of the manuscript. The journal’s online system also enables authors to track the status of their manuscripts throughout the review process.
