About the Journal
The Journal of Adult Education in Tanzania (JAET) is a pivotal platform dedicated to advancing the field of adult education through high-quality research and scholarly discourse. As an open-access journal, JAET ensures that all its published content is freely available to readers worldwide, facilitating widespread dissemination and accessibility of knowledge.
JAET is committed to maintaining rigorous academic standards and employs a double-blind peer review process to achieve this goal. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to promote impartiality and minimize bias. Each article submitted to JAET undergoes review by two subject matter experts and two technical advisors, covering every stage from submission to final publication.
The journal utilizes a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license. This licensing approach allows others to freely share and adapt the published work, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and the use is non-commercial.
JAET also adopts a fee-free policy for publication. The journal is fully funded by the Institute of Adult Education in Tanzania, which covers all associated publication costs. This ensures that authors do not incur any fees for submitting or publishing their research, promoting inclusivity and allowing for a broader range of contributions.
By offering a platform that supports open access, adheres to high standards of peer review, and eliminates publication fees, JAET aims to enhance the global exchange of knowledge and support the ongoing development of adult education practices. The journal’s broad network of contributors and advisors ensures a rich and diverse perspective on adult learning, addressing critical issues and advancing the field through valuable research and insights.
